Even though you may be a well-organized
person whose work is usually done on time and is under
control, it sometimes happens that you suddenly realizer
that yuo are gonig to miss a major deadline. You feel full
of guilt and anxiety. You feel as if you are going to let
other people down, and this is hard to deal with. Given
these feelings, the first step is to warn the people
involved, even if this is a difficult thing to do. You owe
it to others to let them know in time to adjust their plans.
Second, give the project all your effort. You may be late,
but then who knows, you may finish just in time.
Murphy's Law
Murphy's Law states that if anything can go worng., it will. Once you become aware of this law, it will seem as if it is working in your life on a daily basis. there are many examples of this law at work. If food is spilled at the table, chances are that it will land on your clothing, which will be, no doubt, of a different color. The clothes will not only be clean, but breand new as well. Further, your power will go off just when you must trust your clock radio to get you up in the morning for an appointment.
If you expalin something so clearly that n one can misunderstand, someone will. when a bargain occurs, you have no money; an item always will go on sale after you just bought it last week. You will rememrber a birthday one day too late, and everything will take longer than you think it will. The car will not start when you ar late for work, and the rain always seems to fall on your picnic. You can be sure that the very thing you plan to do first must be shifted to last. The effect of this law is when nothing xan go wrong, it will.
The Art of Conversation
Would you like to learn to converse in a better manner? Here are some tips to help you. Conversation is more than just talk; it means to listen as well. Pay close attention to what the other person is saaying rather than thinking about what you plan to say. You will become so engrossed in what is being said that you will not have time to be self-conscious. Do not be restless and allow your eyes to roam around the room, or it will be diffcult for the other person to talk to you.
