The News

Today, we are able to get world, national, state, and local news faster and with better accuracy than ever before.  Due to this fact, we are much more alert to and concerned about people in other parts of the world.  Perhaps some problems are no worse today than they were years ago, but now we know of them much sooner.  In most parts of the world, we learn what is going on about us and the very same day that it occurs.  Much of this is due to improved journalism.

The bright trend in journalism is the rise in the number of high quality papers which do not stress the trite or schoking news items, but rather try to bring people to a higher level of reason when they try to obtain and report the facts.  By making use of good writing, these papers try to open our minds and to get us to think about our future, since they are so fully aware of the importance of truth.  They stand for the true voice of news reporting.
