Summary
Ken Kaneki was an average human living in the wards of Japan. The two races that live within Japan are humans and ghouls. Ghoul have the same appearance as humans except for their extraordinary abilities and the fact that they eat humans to survive. One day Ken gets dragged into the ghoul world when he had an ghoul organ transplanted into him after an accident. This event leads him to try and understand the world of both humans and ghouls and trying to find an understanding between the two.
